The Remedial Teaching Program

New Hope educators use assessment results, as well as input from parents, teachers, and students, to develop an individualized instructional plan.

This plan:

• Responds to the student’s learning style
• Identifies specific skills to be developed
• Outlines teaching strategies and methods
• Identifies the tools and materials to be used

Lessons are designed to build on the student’s strengths and interests, making learning as engaging, meaningful, and rewarding as possible.

As the student develops, the instructional plan is adjusted to meet their new needs and progress.
