The initial interview is an in-depth discussion with the New Hope Assessment Center psychologist, during which you will be asked to provide more information about yourself or your child, such as medical, family, and educational history.
You will also be asked to describe your areas of concern in more detail, as well as the context in which you or your child is experiencing difficulties.
The information collected in this session helps us determine what types of testing should be conducted and formulate practical recommendations tailored to your case.
Appointments for testing can usually be scheduled within one to two weeks of the initial interview.
